Orthamerica

Greetings and welcome to the Orthamerica blog. I am a Christian clergyman, who has loves the ancient faith of the undivided church, and I have created this blog in order to re-introduce that faith to anyone who may be interested in it. The sad fact is that many today only know the divided mind and witness of a church comprised of over 20,000 denominations, each of which holds to a little piece of the greater story.

This faith of the undivided church is unlike anything we know in the contemporary west because it is orthodox, catholic, and evangelical. This faith is not merely a kernel of the truth, it is the fullness of the truth. This faith is not secterian, rather it is what has been belived everywhere, by all, always. This faith was founded by Christ, given to His disciples, belonged to all Christians of the first millennium, and has been passed on from generation to generation in unbroken succession since 33 AD.

In this blog I will be attempting to describe that faith, and at the same time point out the many additions and subtractions to it that are found in what passess for Christianity in our world. Finally, in this blog I will be trying to imagine what this orthodox faith of undivided church could look like in modern day America, hence the name “Orthamerica”.
